It was out of necessity that I found Cajun Custom Rods. After ordering my Cajun Small Mouth Bomber I can honestly say for the price point the bomber is truly impressive rod. I then began to talk with Jaesen and after his input I ordered and added a Savanah to my rod collection. Well let’s rewind a little bit…
I am a lifelong resident of eastern New Mexico and fishing is a generational legacy passed down from my grandparents, both mother and father and I still enjoy fishing with all of my family. Believe it or not we primarily fished for walleye (yes walleye in eastern New Mexico).
Then after a extremely fun weekend fishing top water for largemouth bass with my Cajun Smallmouth Bomber, I was hooked. Last year I began to compete in bass tournaments with American Bass Association (Southern Division) that is when my relationship with Jaesen really began to payoff. When Jaesen talked to me about using the Cajun Delta to increase my casting distance while maintaining my ability to confidently set the hook while using soft plastics at that greater distance (and of course it paid off), I knew I had found an American company that had my back. His guidance and support have helped me to become more competitive and built my confidence. As a relatively beginner at competitive bass fishing, I am genuinely humbled and proud to join the Cajun Custom Rods pro staff. God Bless and see you at the lake.
